Pika
Pika

I first learned about pikas from my sister when we were on our family Glacier National Park trip. After that both of us dreamed about seeing a pika with plants or flowers in its mouth. It wouldn’t be till 2020 when she came to visit me and we went to Rocky Mountain National Park that our dream would come true. If only you had been there to hear us yelling at each other, scrambling over rocks, and pointing at the cutest little pika with plants in its mouth.
Still to this day when I’m hiking I get so excited when I hear the squeak of a pika. If you’ve gone hiking with me you know I will make it my mission to spot the pika once I’ve heard it
